FAQs

Each competition closes on the earlier of the date and time shown on its page, or the moment all tickets are sold. The draw takes place on the stated draw date whatever the number of tickets sold, and we never extend a closing date to sell more tickets. Every draw is broadcast live on our Facebook and Instagram channels so you can watch it happen.

Yes. No purchase is necessary. You can enter free of charge by post, and free postal entries are given ticket numbers from the same pool and treated exactly the same as paid entries in the draw. Full instructions are on our Free Postal Entry page.

We will contact the winner by email and telephone within 7 days of the draw. We will ask for proof of identity and to confirm the details used at entry before the prize is released. Unless the competition page says otherwise, prizes are collected in person from our address in Airdrie, North Lanarkshire, normally within 28 days of identity being verified. If the prize is a vehicle, you will need a valid full driving licence and photographic ID at collection, and you are responsible for insuring and taxing it before driving it away. Any cash prize or cash alternative is normally paid by bank transfer within 14 days of identity being verified.

Winners are chosen using a random number generator, live on Facebook and Instagram, from the full range of ticket numbers for that competition. If the number drawn has not been allocated to an entrant, we draw again in the same broadcast until an allocated number is selected. The winning ticket number is announced publicly.

Your unique ticket numbers are emailed to you once your entry has been processed. They are also always available in My Account using your order number and email address. Please keep a record of them.

It depends on the competition. Where a cash alternative is offered, it is shown on that competition’s page. The winner can choose either the prize or the cash alternative, and must tell us their choice within 14 days of being contacted. Where the cash alternative is lower than the estimated retail value of the prize, we say so, so you can take that into account before entering.

The maximum number of entries per person is shown on each competition’s page, and covers paid and free entries combined. Any entries above the limit are void and the amount paid for them is refunded.
