Terms & Conditions
1. About us and these terms
This competition is promoted by Boost Competitions Ltd, a company registered in Scotland under company number SC890779, whose registered office is 34A Viking Road, Airdrie, North Lanarkshire, ML6 9SE, United Kingdom ("we", "us", "our").
By entering this competition you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before entering. If you do not agree to them, please do not enter.
These terms should be read alongside our Free Postal Entry page and our Privacy Policy.
2. The prize
The prize is one Audi RSQ3 Vorsprung finished in Khalami Green, with a fully forged engine mapped to Stage 1+ producing approximately 850bhp, with the balance of its engine and gearbox warranty remaining at the date of the draw.
The prize is offered as described. Full specification, mileage and condition details are set out on the competition page. The vehicle is a modified used vehicle and is offered in its current condition. We recommend the winner arranges their own inspection before taking delivery.
Cash alternative
The winner may instead choose a cash alternative of £30,000. The winner must notify us of their choice within 14 days of being contacted. If no choice is communicated within that period, the vehicle will be awarded.
The cash alternative is lower than the estimated retail value of the vehicle. Entrants should take this into account when deciding whether to enter.
Collection of the prize
The vehicle must be collected in person by the winner from our registered address in Airdrie, North Lanarkshire. We do not deliver the prize. The winner is responsible for their own travel to and from the collection point, and for insuring and taxing the vehicle before driving it away.
Collection must be arranged within 28 days of the winner being notified. If the winner has not collected the vehicle within that period and has not agreed an extension with us in writing, we may award the cash alternative instead.
The winner must produce a valid full driving licence and photographic identification at collection.
Substitution
The prize is not transferable and no part of it may be exchanged except as set out above. If the prize becomes unavailable for reasons outside our control before the draw takes place, we reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value, or to award the cash alternative.
3. Who can enter
You may enter if you:
- are aged 18 or over at the date of entry;
- are resident in the United Kingdom; and
- are not an employee or director of Boost Competitions Ltd, nor an immediate family member of one, nor anyone else professionally connected with this competition.
We may ask for proof of age, identity and address at any time. If you cannot provide it, or if you have entered in breach of these terms, your entry will be void and any prize forfeited.
4. How to enter
There are two ways to enter, and both carry exactly the same chance of winning:
Paid entry
Purchase one or more entries through this website. Ticket prices and bundles are shown on the competition page. Before completing your purchase you must correctly answer the qualifying question.
Free postal entry
No purchase is necessary. You may enter free of charge by post. Full instructions are on our Free Postal Entry page. Free postal entries are allocated ticket numbers from the same pool, in the same way, and are treated identically to paid entries in the draw.
Entry limits
A maximum of 500 entries per person applies to this competition, across paid and free entries combined. Entries above this limit will be void and any payment for them refunded.
Total entries
This competition has a maximum of 9,999 entries. Once all entries have been allocated, no further entries can be made.
5. Ticket numbers
Every entry is allocated a unique ticket number between 1 and 9,999. No number is ever issued twice.
Ticket numbers are drawn from a list that was randomly ordered before the competition opened, and are allocated in that order as entries are received. Numbers are assigned automatically and are not chosen by us.
Your ticket numbers are emailed to you after your entry is processed, and are also permanently available at My Tickets using your order number and email address. Please keep a record of them.
6. The draw
The draw will take place on whichever of the following happens first:
- as soon as reasonably practicable after all 9,999 entries have been allocated; or
- on the closing date shown by the countdown on the competition page.
If the closing date is reached before all entries are allocated, the draw will still go ahead on that date using the entries received. Every entry received remains valid and in the draw.
The draw will be conducted using a random number generator and will be broadcast live on our Facebook and Instagram channels so that entrants can watch it take place. The winning ticket number will be announced publicly.
The winning number is drawn from the full range of 1 to 9,999. If the competition has not sold out and the number drawn has not been allocated to an entrant, a further number will be drawn until an allocated number is selected. This will be done in the same live broadcast.
Our decision on the conduct of the draw is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
7. The winner
The winner will be contacted using the email address and telephone number provided at entry, within 7 days of the draw.
If we are unable to make contact, or if the winner does not respond, within 21 days of the draw, we reserve the right to treat the entry as forfeited and to redraw. We will make reasonable attempts to make contact before doing so.
The winner's first name and general location will be published on our website and social media channels. If you would prefer this not to happen, please tell us and we will discuss what we can reasonably do — but please note we may be required to make certain details available in order to demonstrate that the competition was run fairly.
The winner may be asked to take part in reasonable promotional activity, such as a photograph at collection. This is not a condition of receiving the prize.
8. Refunds and cancellation
Entries are for a competition that takes place at a fixed point in time. Once your entry has been allocated a ticket number, it cannot ordinarily be cancelled or refunded.
Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights. If you believe you have entered in error, contact us as soon as possible at our contact page and we will consider your request.
If we cancel the competition before the draw for any reason, we will refund all paid entries in full.
9. Things outside our control
We are not responsible for entries that are lost, delayed, damaged or not received, whether by post or through technical failure. Proof of posting or of submission is not proof of receipt.
If circumstances outside our reasonable control prevent us from running the competition or awarding the prize as described, we may suspend, amend or cancel the competition. Where we do so, we will act fairly towards entrants and will publish our reasons.
10. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
Subject to that, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your participation in this competition or your use of the prize, beyond the amount you paid to enter.
Once the prize has been collected, the vehicle and all responsibility for it passes to the winner.
11. Conduct
We may void entries and refuse future entries where we reasonably believe there has been fraud, manipulation of the entry process, use of automated systems, or any other conduct intended to gain an unfair advantage.
12. Complaints
If you are unhappy with any aspect of this competition, please contact us through our contact page setting out the issue. We will respond within 14 days and will try to resolve matters directly with you.
13. Data protection
We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We are the data controller for information you provide when entering.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Scotland and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
